Acoustic Safety for Australian Prime Minister and Cabinet during APEC summit

Polaris Communications distributor, TeleManagement Australia has implemented the Polaris manufactured Soundpro headsets and Soundshield 3G Acoustic Shock Protection devices into the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, for the 2007 APEC summit in Sydney today, September 4th 2007.

While APEC leaders discuss codes of conduct for businesses and government during the summit this week, TeleManagement Australia have been busy meeting the demands of the key logistical staff providing critical support to the world’s leaders, who have gathered in Sydney for the summit.

Soundshield wins 2007 Australian Technology Showcase Patrons Award

Silvertongue’s Soundshield 3G, has been awarded the Australian Technology Showcase (ATS) Patrons Award, presented at a ceremony at Government house by the Governor of Victoria, Professor David de Kretser, A.C. and the Honourable Gavin Jennings Minister for Innovation and ICT.

The Award recognises Soundshield 3G with 'outstanding potential in international markets' and is supported by the active Patrons who give ongoing support to the ATS in Victoria, combining to provide substantial targeted services as the award for the winning technology.

Silvertongue supports Acoustic Safety Programme Glasgow Scotland

The Annual Acoustic Safety Conference was held at the SECC in Glasgow on 27 & 28 November 2006 and was hailed a great success by all parties. Silvertongue EMEA took part in the annual Acoustic Safety Programme which addresses the important workplace issue of acoustic safety currently facing call centre's the world over.

Silvertongue are delighted to support the ongoing efforts of the Acoustic Safety Programme. The research and knowledge base that the ASP is building is invaluable to the education of key personnel to ensure safe operating environments for call centre agents and office workers.

Australian Company wins AUD$8m Telstra Contract

August 2006

Polaris Communications, Australia’s leading distributor of telephone peripherals has been awarded the exclusive contract to supply all headset products to Telstra for its own contact centre staff and key contact centre customers.

The contract is for a minimum period of two years with a further one year option and is expected to be worth more than AUD$8.0 million.

Soundshield 3G Technology an Australian Technology Showcase

Finalist

The technologically advanced Soundshield 3G was showcased along with 100 innovative Australian technologies at the Australian Technology Showcase (ATS) at a Business Club Australia event during March 2006.  

The world class acoustic protection device, Soundshield 3G 7100 was showcased at this premier event, presented by Hon John Brumby MP, Minister for Innovation, in the state of Victoria, Australia.

So technologically advanced, the Soundshield was short listed during this process for the exclusive Victorian Patron’s Award for Outstanding Achievement in International Markets.
